Larry Nagel told WDIV-TV in Detroit a woman who'd seen an online ad for some of his watches on craigslist met him at a Southfield, Mich., coffee shop.
Nagel says he tried to put one on her wrist but the buckle wouldn't clasp, so he tried to put it on his own wrist after taking off his own Rolex.
That's when a man ran up, snatched it and fled.
Nagel followed the thief but remembered his other watches were on the table.
By the time he returned, the woman and the other Rolex were gone.
Police are trying to identify the thieves from security camera images.
WHY would you try to sell your Rolex in a coffee shop? Not just that, but you have one on yourself?? WHAT FOR????? Then taking it off, putting it on the table??? I'm sorry, but this guy was ASKING to get robbed!!! Did he not see that happening? Did he see that being a smooth transaction in a coffee shop? He couldn't meet the buyer at his home? or maybe he didn't want the buyer to know where he lived, so the person wouldn't be able to see any other expensive items he has (if that's what you were going for, here's a tip: DON'T wear a Rolex yourself!!!!)
Thoughts?
