With the weather as it is outside, hasn't really been all that busy as day for me here (not a single customer today) so it gives me a lot of time to sit around, surf the net, and also think about things (uh-oh, i'm thinking, not always a good thing!)
Some things that crossed my mind (at times randomly) were, Have you ever wondered:
How important does a person have to be before they are considered assassinated instead of just murdered?
- Since bread is square, why is sandwich meat round?
- Why do you have to "put your two cents in"...but it's only a "penny for your thoughts"? Where's that extra penny going to? Taxes?
- Why is it that people say they "slept like a baby" when babies wake up like every two hours?
- If a deaf person has to go to court, is it still called a hearing?
- Why do people pay to go up tall buildings and then put money in binoculars to look at things on the ground?
- Why DO they put braille dots on drive thru ATM machines?
- If Walmart is "lowering prices EVERYDAY" how come there isn't anything there for free yet?
- Why are the psychics always on those late night phone shows? why don't they just predict the next (few even) winning lottery numbers and retire??
- Why do they sterilize the needle for lethal injections? what's the worst that can happen if they don't?
- If you're atheist and just swore on the bible, have you committed perjury?
Think about it.....
